چکیده
The global population’s increasing demand for sustainable and nutritious food sources has led to the exploration of alternative approaches in livestock production. Edible insects have emerged as a promising solution due their nutritional composition, including high protein content, balanced fats, minerals, vitamins, bioactive peptides. Biofermentation offers viable method enhance value insect feed. This study aimed investigate effects feeding biofermented feeds derived from less valuable raw materials on yield composition Zophobas morio larvae. focus was assessing fat quality, omega-3 omega-6 fatty acids, compounds monitoring larvae’s weight length increases. Three feed types were tested: wheat bran (control), fermented bran, mixture corn flaxseed five-week period. findings demonstrated noteworthy (p < 0.05) elevation polyunsaturated such gamma-linolenic acid, alpha-linolenic eicosapentaenoic acid larvae fed with pomace, both pre- postculinary treatment, compared control group. also showed increased chelation Cu2+ Fe2+ between native roasted samples without vitro digestion, well Cyclooxygenase-1 activity 0.05), indicating improved bioavailability. Additionally, culinary processing reduction polyphenol content antioxidant > except DPPH, peptide concentration digestion.

Effects of different feed restriction periods on the growth and fatty acid compositions in juvenile rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss)
The aim of this study was to determine the effect of different feed restriction periods on the growth performance as well as the biochemical and fatty acid compositions of fillet in rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss). Fish with an average initial weight of 64.80±7.41g were used in the study. The trial lasted 60 days and 4 different feeding diets were alternately applied to the fish. The contro...
متن کاملTracheal compression in pupae of the beetle Zophobas morio.
Insects that are small or exhibit low metabolic rates are considered to not require active ventilation to augment diffusive gas exchange. Some pupae with low metabolic rates exhibit abdominal pumping, a behaviour that is known to drive tracheal ventilation in the adults of many species. However, previous work on pupae suggests that abdominal pumping may serve a non-respiratory role. To study th...

A 15-day study was conducted to evaluate the effects of Artemia metanauplii enriched with two commercial supplements (Easy DHA-Selco and S. presso) which contained high levels of n–3 long chain polyunsaturated fatty acids (n–3 LC-PUFA) on growth performance, stress resistance and fatty acid profile of Litopenaeus vannamei post larvae (PL). In this regard, PL were fed with three different types ...

متن کاملEffects of frying by different frying oils on fatty acid profile of silver carp (Hypophthalmichthys molitrix)
The study aims to determine the influence of frying (shallow and deep) with olive, canola and sunflower oil on fatty acid composition of silver carp. Frying by olive oil and canola oil increased the monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFA) significantly (p<0.05) that consequently decreased saturated fatty acids (SFA), polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) and ω-3 fatty acids. Frying by sunflow...
